'Halo Wars 2' DLC to Be Detailed Next Week

"Halo Wars 2" is getting a brand-new downloadable content (DLC) and fans will start learning more about it next week, 343 Industries promised on its latest blog post.

The developer stated that they will be ready to talk about the next DLC in the coming days and promised to reveal "pretty awesome new details" about the next leader to make an entrance in the game.

This new "Halo Wars 2" character will serve as the second leader released for the game, the first being the pyromaniac Lt. Colonel Morgan Kinsano from last month.

As announced before, "Halo Wars 2" players will get to welcome a new leader to the fold every month as the way of 343 Industries to keep the game fresh and for gamers to have something new to look forward to in the real-time strategy hit.

Apart from expanding the game, 343 Industries is also intent on making sure the game is in tiptop working condition, which is why a new patch for "Halo Wars 2" has just been rolled out.

It introduces a slew of much-needed tweaks and bug fixes including one that addresses the problem in which campaign save files from previous versions or patches were crashing on load.

On the gameplay side of things, the "Halo Wars 2" patch rectifies the issue in which watchtowers and motion sensors were unable to detect cloaked units.

Players will no longer have to worry about the cloaking generators stopping after 15 seconds when the advanced cloaking leader power was fully unlocked and upgraded.

The "Halo Wars 2" patch also made sure gamers will not run into the issue where Forge's warthog was not displaying aura visual effects (VFX) and his upgrades were not working.

Last but not the least, 343 Industries made it a point to update the text for Forge's Rolling Economy Leader Power in "Halo Wars 2" to reflect the changes made in the Kinsano update. The text that mentions the reduced building cost will no longer be there.
