Harold Camping, who predicted that the world would end on May 21 this year, is avoiding press as he waits for his predicted End of the World to take place today, Oct. 21.
"I'm sorry to disappoint you, but we at Family Radio have been directed to not talk to the media or the press," Camping's daughter Susan Espinoza wrote in response to an email request about Friday's doomsday scenario, according to CSM.
The Family Radio leader had to face international mockery previously when he warned that the world would end on May 21, but found himself still on Earth on May 22.

Following the failed prediction, Camping broke his silence and spoke publicly for the first time two days after the predicted rapture that did not happen.
Camping offered no sincere apology and at the time he made a new prediction: the rapture would actually be on Oct. 21.
Now Harold Camping is indirectly speaking to his supporters through Tom Evans, who served as his PR man leading up to the May 21 non-event this year.
According to Evans, who was gathered at Family Radio in a meeting with Camping supporters in Oakland this Sunday, the 90-year-old Bible teacher “believes that unbelievers will simply become tired, fall asleep and never awake.”
However, if the “physical” rapture fails to happen again today, Evans has this to say to believers: “How am I gonna respond if it doesn’t happen? I think we all can trust that God will strengthen us."
"If there’s something we’ve missed, then He will strengthen us.”
