'Harry Potter' spin-off actor Eddie Redmayne very excited with 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them!'
Eddie Redmayne said that being part of the "Harry Potter" spin-off film "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" is one of the best experiences he ever had. He said that getting cast in this movie is an "extraordinary" experience. He will soon be seen as Newt Scamander, the leading magizoologist, who travels the wizarding world looking for magical creatures.
In his latest interview with Entertainment Weekly, Redmayne said that he has always been a fan of the series written by the British author J.K. Rowling. "Like many people, I read those books, I watched those films, and became completely intoxicated by J.K. Rowling's world," the actor claimed. He added that he is extremely thrilled and hope it will be "quite a ride."
While the actor is delighted to share his excitement about being part of the Harry Potter franchise, he refused to offer further details about it. "I'm allowed to say absolutely nothing!" he clarified.

Before Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them premieres next year, Redmayne will be seen this November in "The Danish Girl," where he will be playing a transgender woman named Lili Elbe. The actor also recently lent his voice to Ryan, a train, from the movie "Thomas & Friends: Sodor's Legend of the Lost Treasure."
Redmayne recently won the Best Actor Oscar award, where he played the role of Stephen Hawking in last year's "The Theory of Everything." The actor said in his interview with GQ that he is challenged to play "interesting people." He said that portraying roles of unique people will allow him to tell an interesting story. "It's not a concerted choice. I think it will be a unique experience," he added.
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is directed by filmmaker David Yates and is scheduled to premiere next year, Nov. 18, 2016.
