Harry Styles Presents Emma Watson With Style Award at BFAs, Fans Want Them to Date

Fans of One Direction and Emma Watson are now hoping that the actress and Harry Styles will start dating soon after seeing the two onstage at the British Fashion Awards on Monday, December 1.

Styles presented Watson with the British Style Award, and Styles, who won the same award last year, congratulated the "Harry Potter" star with a hug and a kiss onstage. Watson appeared to be a little bit flustered as she told the crowd, "Harry Styles just said the words, 'He for She' so that's really cool." He for She is Watson's gender equality foundation, which generated a lot of press last September when the star made an impassioned speech on the subject at the U.N.

Their interaction caused frenzy on the Internet as fans dubbed the new pairing as "Hemma" and Twitter users started campaigning for the two to get together.

One tweeted, "if elegancy and class had a specific visual image it would be that picture of emma watson and harry styles."

And while One Direction fans are known to be incredibly picky over who the boy band members date, many of them admitted on social media that they wouldn't mind if Watson and Styles started dating each other.

"I think we can all agree Emma Watson would be one of the only few people we'd be cool to ship with Harry," wrote one fan.

Another wrote, "I think the fandom wouldn't really mind if #Hemma became real. I think I like her a lot."

Though many agree that the two would make a striking couple, Watson is currently in a relationship with Matthew Janney, an Oxford University student. Janney is one of the university's top rugby players and was voted Oxford's most eligible bachelor. Styles has previously dated Taylor Swift, Kendall Jenner, and Cara Delevingne but it is not confirmed if he is in a relationship with anyone as of the moment.
