However, it was reported that Alex O'Loughlin's Lieutenant Commander Steve McGarrett and Scott Caan's Detective Danny "Danno" Willliams will not be present to help out the team. The two will be going on a couple's retreat to aid their therapy sessions.

Previous seasons have mentioned that they often do activities that are designed to accompany their sessions. With that, the two are expected to solve the many issues in their relationship.

Several photos of their retreat were recently posted by the network. Teaser for the upcoming episode showed the two of them doing several activities with a group of couples. But the couple will face an obstacle that will cost them their victory and leave Danny injured.

As reported by Carter Matt, the synopsis for the upcoming episode reads, "While McGarrett and Danny attend a couples retreat in Maui to work on their partnership issues, Kamekona's dangerous past comes back to haunt him."

"Hawaii Five-0" season 6 is expected to return on Jan. 8, 2016.
