'Hawaii Five-0' Season 7 Episode 19 Spoilers: Failed Assassination Plot Takes Backseat as Five-0 Returns to Usual Grind

What started out as a case of smuggled uranium several episodes back has just turned into a failed assassination plot against Steve (Alex O'Loughlin) and his crew. With this revelation hanging over their heads, what's next for the team when "Hawaii Five-0" returns for episode 19?

It looks like it's going to be business as usual for the Five-0 Task Force in the upcoming episode titled "Puka 'ana" (Exodus)." The official synopsis reveals that while Steve and Kono (Grace Park) follow a lead into a suspected sex trafficking ring on the island, Chin (Daniel Dae Kim) and Grover (Chi McBride) will be investigating a murder in a sober home.

When an abused young girl is taken into custody, Steve and Kono immediately suspect that she may have been the victim of sex trafficking. And there's no better duo to look into the case than the fearless captain with the brawns and the tough woman with a compassionate heart to ensure that the investigations will he handled with diligence and sensitivity.

On the other hand, a murder in a sober home, where people recovering from substance abuse seek both haven and a second chance at a better life, seems rather unfortunate. This is such a tough case, too, for Chin and Grover to crack, when everybody in the facility could be a person of interest.

There is no mention of whether or not Steve and Grover will choose to tell the rest of the crew what they found out about the uranium bombs, which they rightfully should in order to give everyone a fighting chance against another attempt.

In an interview with TV Line earlier this year, actor Kim shared that the ongoing theme of the current season is "the cost of doing the job that we do as Five-0." Putting this and the dirty bomb plot together, it seems that CBS' high-octane action police procedural is inching up to an explosive, high-stakes season finale, which will be happening soon.

In the meantime, "Hawaii Five-0" season 7 episode 19 will air on Friday, March 10, at 9 p.m. EST on CBS.
