Heart Attack Grill Customer Collapses Again
A woman has collapsed while eating at a restaurant in Las Vegas which is quickly building a reputation for being bad for your health.
The unidentified woman was eating a "double bybass burger" at The Heart Attack Grill while at the same time smoking a cigarette and drinking a margarita when she reportedly lost consciousness.
The Heart Attack Grill's owner Jon Basso told local media that the woman is currently recovering in the hospital.
The restaurant has been featured on food shows as well as in several foodie magazines for the theme behind the restaurant. The wait-staff dresses in nurses outfits while customers are called patients.
"It's a lifestyle issue…we attract the avant-garde of lifestyle seekers." Basso said. "It's the Mecca for unhealthy lifestyles."
The Heart Attack Grill offers free meals to any customer who weighs over 350 pounds and features butterfat milkshakes, non-filtered cigarettes, "flatliner" fries and "bypass" burgers.
Unfortunately, this is the second time in recent months that a person had to be rushed to the hospital while eating at the restaurant.
A man was eating at the restaurant recently when he suffered a serious cardiac incident while eating the "Triple Bypass Burger."
"He was having the sweats and shaking," according to a waitress who was working at the restaurant when the man started to experience chest pains.
"I actually felt horrible for the gentleman because the tourists were taking photos of him as if it were some type of stunt. Even with our own morbid sense of humor, we would never pull a stunt like that," Basso said.
This series of unfortunate incidents has not deterred the customers from eating the now infamous "bypass" burgers.
The "quadruple bypass burger," the largest burger on the menu, contains around 10,000 calories. The Guinness World Records has deemed the burger "the most caloric sandwich on Earth."
