'Hearthstone' Samsung Galaxy Card Back Bug: New Notification Problem Brought About by Recent Patch

"Hearthstone" is perhaps one of the most popular collectible card video games out today. And while that may be the case, the game is certainly not exempt to bugs. Most recently, players on Samsung Galaxy smartphones have been complaining about a problem with the game's card back feature.

Some "Hearthstone" players have taken to online forums to see if they are the only ones experiencing the problem. It quickly became apparent, though, that the issue seems to be exclusive to Samsung Galaxy users.

"Every time I log in on mobile since the patch update it pops up with completing the Samsung Galaxy achievement to get the card back," one user wrote in the forum.

Upon investigation, it has been discovered that the issue can be traced back to the recent patch that came to "Hearthstone," which is patch 7.1. Every time players open their game on mobile, a notification message appears, informing them that they have received the Samsung Galaxy card back.

And while it may be such a small thing to keep having to close the window, it can be a big inconvenience to some players. Right now, there has been no announcement from Blizzard regarding the bug, but it is a recognized problem in the "Hearthstone" community. It is unknown if a fix is already on its way, although some expect it to come out with the "Journey to Un'Goro" expansion.

Other players, on the other hand, have taken to Reddit to voice their concerns about the problem. For those who want to avoid the card back issue, opening and playing the game on the PC instead is advised, since the bug is only on Samsung Galaxy devices.

It is expected that a fix will soon roll out, though, since "Hearthstone" is a game that has had a long trail of satisfactory feedbacks from its players. The game also makes sure to deliver exciting new content, including January's Boss Battle Royale.
