Heidi Klum Flashed by Topless Protestors During German 'Next Top Model' Finale
Heidi Klum received an unusual welcome from protestors at the finale of Germany's "Next Top Model." Several protestors decided to flash the model and voice their objection to her presence and possibly the show itself.
Klum, a presenter and judge on the TV series, was greeted by women who painted their bodies with the words "Heidi Horror Picture Show" and "Sadistic Show." It wasn't clear exactly what the protestors were protesting, but they were quickly escorted from the stage where Klum was to announce the winner of "Next Top Model."
"I'm not even looking," Klum said while the two women were escorted from the stage.
Lovelyn Enebechi was named the winner of the contest, while Maike van Grieken came in a close second. The show is immensely popular in the country and around the world; Tyra Banks currently hosts the U.S. series, which is in season 18. Various interpretations of the series appear in over 20 countries.
Klum decided to attend the German finale on her own and left her four children with boyfriend Martin Kristen in Los Angeles. She separated from her husband, and father of her children, Seal, in 2012, after being married for seven years.
"He's been with our family for the last four years," Klum said of Kristen. "He's cared for our entire family, mostly for our four children, helped us tremendously. I trust him with my children's life. He's a great man, you know, and we just got to know each other from a completely different side."
Klum and Kristen were on vacation in March and caused quite a stir when Klum's son and two nannies were swept out in the ocean. She and Kristen leapt into action and pulled all of them from the water before disaster could occur.
"We got pulled into the ocean by a big wave. Of course, as a mother, I was very scared for my child and everyone else in the water. Henry is a strong swimmer and was able to swim back to land. We were able to get everyone out safely," Klum told Us Weekly.
She next appears on "America's Got Talent" as a judge alongside Mel B, Howie Mandel and Howard Stern.
