Heidi Klum Topless Photo Scandal Causes Model to Sue French Magazine?
Heidi Klum is reportedly furious over new topless photos which recently surfaced online and the model is now weighing up her legal options with the intention of holding whoever is responsible accountable.
Klum was unknowingly photographed topless while on vacation in the south of France with her bodyguard and boyfriend, Martin Kristen. A French magazine has since published the semi-nude photographs and Klum, 39, reportedly believes that her privacy was violated because she was on a private and secluded beach when the photos were taken, according to TMZ.
The mother of four is said to be comparing her situation to that of Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, who recently won an injunction banning her own topless photos from being further published in France.
Like Klum, Middleton was sunbathing topless at a private chateau in France during a vacation with her husband, Prince William, when an unidentified photographer snapped intrusive photos before they were published in France's Closer magazine.
Middleton and Prince William, both 30, immediately took legal action against the French publication and won the injunction. They are currently awaiting to outcome of a criminal complaint which they filed against Closer magazine under France's strict privacy laws.
Klum is also reportedly awaiting the outcome of the case to determine whether she has a good chance at winning if she pursues legal action.
Klum's topless scandal is not the only problem that she has faced in recent weeks. At the beginning of September her estranged husband Seal, 49, accused her of having an extramarital affair with Kristen during their seven year marriage.
Klum abruptly separated from Seal in January and filed for divorce in April. She recently confirmed that she is dating Kristen but denied that their relationship began before her separation from Seal, and through her rep dismissed his cheating allegations as "false."
"It is sad that Seal has to resort to false accusations," Klum's rep said in a public statement.
