'Hell's Kitchen' Season 16 Episode 2 Preview and Spoilers: Contestants Battle it Out on an All-new Challenge
The contestants will have to come up with 10 acceptable savory crepes for chef Ramsay
Going to just its second episode for the season, you can already feel the hellish intensity as British chef and restaurateur Gordon Ramsay try to filter out anew a crew of aspiring chefs in his quest to find that one person who will exemplify absolute culinary perfection in the kitchen.
Apart from the distinction of surviving Ramsay's Hell's Kitchen with flying colors, the ultimate winner will also take home the grand prize --- $250,000 and the Head Chef position at Yardbird Southern Table & Bar at The Venetian Las Vegas.

The contestants already got a first taste of the intense pressure that they are about to face when they were brought to a detour at a US Army training camp.
"Before you can enter Hell's Kitchen, I need to make sure that all of you have the discipline needed to survive," Gordon said.
For episode 2, which will air Friday, Sept. 30 on FOX, the contestants will have the pleasure of trying out the first annual Crepe Grand Prix challenge. They will have to come up with 10 acceptable savory crepes for chef Ramsay, and at stake is a luxurious dining experience on a yacht in Santa Barbara.
As for the team that won't make it, members will be tasked to handle the fish delivery of the day.
Meanwhile, on the dinner service with VIP guests Noureen DeWulf and Dash Mihokand, a team is bound to be the weaker one yet gain, and another chef has to kiss his/her head-chef dream goodbye.
The Season 16 Contestants
There are 18 chefs vying for the last-man-standing title for season 16. Both New York and Pennsylvania have the most number of representatives with five each. Two other chefs reside from Michigan, and one each from Ohio, South Carolina, North Carolina, New Jersey, California, and Maine.
The group, which will be assigned to either the blue or red team, is a smorgasbord of cooks, sous chefs, head and executive chefs, sushi chef, pastry chef, catering and banquet chefs, events chef, university chef, kitchen and restaurant managers, and a culinary instructor.
