Help Block Al-Jazeera's Jihad on American Cable TV
Al-Jazeera is about to bring jihad to American cable TV.
And who do we have to thank for this? Former Vice President Al Gore. Gore sold Current TV to Al Jazeera, owned by a Saudi Arabian billionaire sheik, for $500 million. His greed to earn $70 million from the deal surpassed any loyalty that he might have expressed having to his country. Many at Current TV, Americans, will lose their jobs as a result of his greed.
Gore justified the sale by saying, "Al Jazeera is an award-winning network ... that does terrific climate coverage." Climate coverage from an oil monopolizer-Saudi Arabia- one of the worst human rights abusers on the planet.

Al-Jazeera has promised to "Americanize" its U.S. operation. The favored channel among suicide bombers and radical Islamists worldwide is going to be "Americanized."
Fortunately, there is an alternative.
It's called One America News Network. Founded by Charles Herring of Herring Broadcasting in San Diego, One America New Network hopes to provide opinion-free straight news reporting and right-leaning talk shows.
It will launch on July 4. Why July 4?
It is an American news company, owned by an American, with American employees.
Currently, on cable TV, there are no conservative cable news programs. Zero. The left has MSNBC, or as intelligent people call it, BSNBC. There is CNN and Headline News. Fox News only promises that it is fair and balanced.
This news outlet will be conservative.
So what does all of this have to do with the favorite channel of terrorists around the world?
Both Al-Jazeera and One America News are competing for time on cable channels. Cable companies occasionally drop one channel in favor of another that looks more promising. One cable news personality told me that, "cable outlets would pick one of the two, but it is very unlikely they would pick up both."
Americans have a choice. They can choose between a channel that is funded by and loved by extremists in the Middle East or they can choose a channel that is built by Americans, for Americans, and that is American at heart.
Did you know that Al Jazeera threw a birthday party for a terrorist that killed a Jewish family? Or that it was the propaganda arm of the enemy during the Iraqi War?
Al-Jazeera's Arabic channel still hosts Sheikh Yusuf Al Qaradawi, a radical Islamist who has 60 million followers worldwide, mostly from the Muslim Brotherhood, whose mission is to "destroy the Western civilization from within." Al-Jazeera gives Al Qaradawi hours of time to radicalize Muslims, justifying and encouraging suicide bombings and calling for Jihad-both in Muslim countries where people are seeking democracy, and from Muslims in western countries as well.
Ask yourself one simple question: Is this what you want on your local cable channel?
Does anyone think that Al-Jazeera America would be any different from its parent company?
There is an alternative: One America News Network.
Cable subscribers should call their cable company and tell them to add One America News Network and not to add Al-Jazeera to the lineup.
It's possible to change the face of cable TV news by helping a real American news channel get on the air and block Jihad TV.
