I love pastors. My father, grandfather, and great-grandfather were all pastors. My sister married a pastor. I married a pastor's daughter, and my daughter married a pastor. I even spent part of my childhood around a seminary where my father served on staff – and met a lot of pastors and pastors-to-be in the process.
So I have a deep love for pastors. I love being around them. I hurt with them when they hurt. I believe they are the most underrated leaders in our society. That's why I've spent most of the last three decades serving pastors and helping them in anyway I can.
Every week for the past six years I've done so through Rick Warren's Ministry Toolbox. I love bringing you informative articles, helpful tips, hot ministry links, and more – from Saddleback and around the world. In the process we try to provide the tools you need to become more effective in ministry.
