'Here Comes Honey Boo Boo' Rosie O'Donnell Offers to Buy Family A House
Rosie O'Donnell recently spoke out in support of the Thompson family, which stars in it's very own reality TV show "Here Comes Honey Boo," and the comedienne offered to buy the popular clan a new house.
O'Donnell, who recently suffered a heart attack, proved that she has not lost any aspect of her sense of humor by giving people magazine a funny impersonation of the popular family.
"I love Mama June. I love Sugar Bear. I love Chubbs," O'Donnell revealed to People.com while referring to some of the Thompsons by their unusual nicknames.

"I love 'em all! I love baby Kaitlyn. 'Smoochie! Look at Mama, Smoochie! Look at the judges,'" she said while imitating June "Mama" Shannon by blowing kisses.
O'Donnell also praised June's 7-year-old daughter Alana, who is a renowned beauty pageant contestant and the main star of the hit TLC reality TV show. The comedienne even compared Alana to former child star Shirley Temple.
"I think that little girl honey boo boo ... she is like Shirley Temple. She has a presence and an intellect that goes way beyond her years," O'Donnell said, adding "I'd love to meet them and buy them a house."
The family, who lives in McIntyre, Ga., rose to stardom in August following the premiere of their hit reality show. The show, which is a spin-off of TLC's "Toddlers and Tiaras," follows their everyday lives and their hobbies include couponing, bobbing for pigs' feet, and "guess the breath" games.
"Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" ratings have soared from 2.2 million viewers when it first began airing in early August to almost 3 million viewers by the end of that same month, according to Nielsen.
The show's success reportedly resulted in an estimated 50 percent salary increase. TLC network executives are expected to raise their salary from a reported $4,000 per episode to approximately $8,000 per episode and around $80,000 per season in conjunction with a location fee.
