Herman Cain Says No Abortion Under Any Circumstances
Herman Cain took a firm stance against abortion in all cases on MSNBC's Meet the Press on Sunday.
The candidate, who recently overtook Mitt Romney as the GOP favorite, has promised to reverse the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision which legalized abortion.
"I do not agree with abortion under any circumstances," Cain said in an interview with David Gregory.

Cain's position did not change for cases of rape or incest.
"Not for rape and incest," Cain replied. "Because if you look at rape and incest, the percentage of those instances is so miniscule that there are other options."
Cain did hint that abortion could be permissible if the mother's life is at risk.
"If it's the life of the mother, that family is going to have to make that decision," he added.
The former Godfather's Pizza CEO has surged to the top of the polls recently after starting his campaign in the shadows of Mitt Romney and Rick Perry.
In the latest Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll, Cain is tops at 27 percent and has a four point lead over Mitt Romney.
Cain's increase in the polls has come largely at the expense of Rick Perry, who has dropped 22 points over the last six weeks. Cain has gained 22 points over the same period of time. Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney has been steady at 23 percent.
Commentators have attributed much of Cain's success to strong performances in the GOP debates. Recently, Cain laid out his "9-9-9" plan to get America out of its economic woes.
The plan would abolish the current tax code and replace it with a 9 percent income tax with only charitable deductions, 9 percent corporate tax and 9 percent sales tax.
Last week, Cain also opened up about his faith.
“But people can see it on my website and when they read my credentials they can see I’m a staunch Christian conservative, and they are saying ‘wait a minute,'" Cain said on a weekend trip to Tennessee.
Prior to the trip Cain said his fate is in God's hands.
“I don’t know if I’m the leader that this nation needs at this particular point in our history but I believe God almighty knows,” Cain said at Ohio Christian University, according to CBS News.
“And if I am, it is in the hands of God almighty. Not a party. Not the media.”
