At least 38 women alleged director James Toback sexually harassed them, according to recent reports.

Toback is known for directing and writing several successful movies such as "The Gambler," "Bugsy," "Black and White" and more.

Recently, it appears he is getting a lot of attention for the wrong reasons. According to a comprehensive report by the Los Angeles Times, at least 38 women claimed they had been sexually assaulted by Toback. The accounts from some of the alleged victims date back to a couple of decades ago.

Veruca Salt's vocalist and guitarist, Louise Post, was one the 38 women who came forward and accused Toback of sexual assault. According to the L.A. Times, she shared an incident back in 1987 where Toback told her "he'd love nothing more than to masturbate while looking into [her] eyes."

Meanwhile, New York drama teacher Karen Sklaire also commented on the reports against Toback and said: "It's a common thread among many women I know ... after someone mentions they were sexually abused by a creepy writer-director, the response is, 'Oh, no. You got Toback-ed.'"

"As the World Turns" star Terri Conn also shared that Toback sexually harassed her back when she was still a young actress and looking to work on an independent film. Like the other women, she met Toback in New York and was curious about his credentials which the writer-director reportedly loves to use as a conversation starter.

Conn said she had agreed to meet with Toback in Central Park to discuss a certain project, but he instead led her to a "secluded area" where he made sexual advances.

Aside from the long list of women claiming to have been sexually violated in some way by Toback, director James Gunn also reacted to the reports and supported the allegations through a lengthy Facebook post.

Gunn said he had come across 15 women - and "probably more" - who shared that they had been "accosted" by Toback in New York City. The "Guardians of the Galaxy" director also mentioned that he personally knew several women who experienced harassment from Toback, including a relative who encountered him twice.
