Holocaust survivor Lucy Lipiner is an outspoken advocate against antisemitism and attempts to diminish Nazi atrocities against the Jews. The 90-year-old woman is also the author ofLong Journey Home: A Young Girl's Memoir of Surviving the Holocaust, which tells her family’s story of fleeing their home in Poland in 1939 to escape the Nazis.

In a Friday post on X, Lipiner reflected on the Nazis’ attempts to justify Kristallnacht, framing the pogrom as “an acceptable outburst of the people for the sins of the Jew.”
