'Homeland' Season 5 Episode 11 Spoilers: Has Carrie's Decision Killed Quinn?

Last Sunday's episode of "Homeland" saw Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes), Saul Berenson (Mandy Patinkin), and Peter Quinn (Rupert Friend) back together for the first time in Season 5.

Terrorists are plotting a sarin gas attack on Berlin and Carrie must get the information needed to prevent the attack from happening.

The final moments of episode 10, "New Normal," left Quinn's fate in question, as Carrie and Saul gazed upon their injured colleague, the only person who can help them foil the terrorist plot.

Will Quinn wake up in time to save the city from the jihadists?

This week's episode brings fans closer to finding an answer.

Promo videos for "Our Man in Damascus" reveal that Quinn is still in a coma and that Carrie and Saul are faced with the dilemma of risking his life vs stopping the attack.

"The only reason he's alive is the atropine in his system," a doctor tells Saul and Carrie.

But with the planned attack happening in six hours, the two are in a race against time. They are caught between a rock and a hard place, and so they push. "When might we reasonably expect him to regain consciousness?" Saul inquires. Incredulous, the doctor answers: "Reasonably? He's in respiratory failure due to acute hypoxia."

"We need him awake," Saul says.

"And I'm telling you he's in a coma for a reason," the doctor, visibly enraged, responds.

The two CIA operatives must choose between saving Quinn or saving the lives of many.

Another short clip shows Carrie making her choice. She wakes Quinn up, risking "massive seizures, cerebral haemorrhage, death," as the doctor warned. When Quinn opens his eyes, she rapidly asks him about the terrorist plot: "You penetrated a terrorist cell. They're planning an attack here in Berlin." "I need to know where!" she insists. But Quinn just moans, coughs up blood, and stiffens.

Will Quinn survive?
