'Homeland' Season 6 Episodes 4 and 5 Recap and Spoilers: Quinn Gets in Serious Trouble

Crime, drama and mystery fused together prove to be an enticing combination as viewers clamor for what's going to happen next. Apparently, episode 5 of "Homeland" is going to be adrenaline-infused, so much that Quinn (Rupert Friend) finds himself in a deep debacle.

It can be recalled that episode 4 dubbed "A Flash of Light" was a showstopper in its own right. The series faced a rather unique turn of events, whereas instead of addressing an immediate hazard, they were speculating that there is something else pulling the strings, and that there's a bigger threat than a hypothetical nuclear attack. Had they focused first on a possible explosion, which happened in Manhattan, then they could have preempted a whole lot of danger.

As per Slant Magazine, this episode shows that despite Carrie (Claire Danes) being the series' protagonist, she isn't always the hero. She needs work with her decision making, although one can argue that it's difficult in the heat of events. That will, however, be tested again in the upcoming episode.

In season 6 episode 5 titled "Casus Belli," Showtime reveals a rather cryptic synopsis. It simply reads, "Keane gets sidelined. Carrie's work follows her home." It doesn't say a lot, and so fans are left in the dark to speculate some more.

With regard to Keane (Elizabeth Marvel), the teaser could mean that she may be placed in a situation where she couldn't do anything. Worse, it could be that she's been put aside, telling she's a bit futile in the episode. Predictions could go on and on, although the second half is a bit revealed in a promo.

In episode 5's promo video, Carrie's work takes a toll on her personal life, so much that people begin attacking outside her house. With her daughter inside and Quinn with her, he is forced to retaliate while a bunch of operatives storming in, he is in a big fight.

"Homeland" season 6 episode 5 airs on Feb. 19, 9 p.m. ET on Showtime.
