Artist Jason Mecier has joked about his portrait, "No roadkill was injured during the making of this portrait!"

In total the garbage piece is made out of 25 pounds of trash.

The portrait comes just weeks after Honey Boo Boo was in the news again for supporting "Spirit Day," which focuses on standing up against bullying in general, and more specifically against abuse aimed at LGBT young people.

The reality TV child star marked Spirit Day by wearing purple, GLAAD previously reported. She was reportedly joined by her mother as well as her openly gay uncle Lee.

Those supporting Spirit Day generally don purple outfits and other celebrities such as Ricky Martin and Snooki also reportedly supported the day.

According to E! Online Honey Boo Boo's mom, Mama June said, "We've always supported gay people, even long before the show started."

She added, "We didn't just do it because we have the show. Some people are kind of scared—what you'd call homophobes—but everyone knew Sugar Bear had a gay brother. It's not a big deal."

Meanwhile the "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" star, Alana Thompson, also gave her support to President Barack Obama as he won re-election to the White House.

The 7-year-old announced her support for the president in an appearance before the elections on an episode of "Jimmy Kimmel Live."
