'Horizon Zero Dawn' News: Patch 1.04 Now Available, Brings Several Quest Fixes and One for the Game's Music
User interface bug related to outfit stats has also been discovered in 'Horizon Zero Dawn's' Patch 1.04
Developers recently rolled out Patch 1.04 for "Horizon Zero Dawn" and it brings plenty of fixes for the game.
To start, players should now find that the in-game music is working better with the new patch applied.
According to the patch notes posted over on Reddit, an issue that could previously lead to exploration music suddenly disappearing after players have been in the game for a while has now been addressed.
Protagonist Aloy will also no longer get stuck in a state of perpetual sliding, thanks to the new patch.
Several quests should also work better now inside the game.
Notably, the quest known as "A Seeker at the Gates" is apparently a focal point of this patch, with three different bugs that previously plagued it getting eliminated.
Players can also count on seeing the correct number of attackers when they try out "The Proving" quest. Other main quest issues that could arise from fast traveling have also been fixed by Patch 1.04.
It is not just main quests that have been fixed by the patch as side quests have gotten some attention from the developers too.
"Redmaw" in particular has received plenty of attention from the developers, so players who may have been unable to complete it before may be able to do so now.
Unfortunately for players, there also appears to be a bug that was inadvertently included in "Horizon Zero Dawn's" Patch 1.04.
The bug in question affects the outfit stats, inflating their totals. Players should know, however, that this is apparently just a user interface issue, according to the developers, so it should have no significant impact on actual gameplay. A fix for this bug is also expected to be provided soon.
More news about other patches that may be released for "Horizon Zero Dawn" should be made available in the near future.
