'Horizon Zero Dawn' Story Expansion Now in the Works, Fans Already Trying to Guess What It Will Feature
Exact release date for 'Horizon Zero Dawn's' story expansion remains unavailable at this point
Following a successful launch, the developers of "Horizon Zero Dawn" announced that there is still more content coming to the game.
For the fans who may have missed it, Guerrilla managing director Hermen Hulst recently shared that the current game features "only the beginning of Aloy's story," before adding later on that the developers are already working on an expansion that should give fans a better idea of what has happened to the game's protagonist and the world contained within the game itself.
Unsurprisingly, news that some kind of story expansion is coming has given players who enjoyed the game yet another reason to be excited. Unfortunately, there is also almost nothing currently known about what this story expansion is about, as developers have yet to hint at what it could feature.
Still, the lack of more specific details related to "Horizon Zero Dawn's" upcoming story expansion has not prevented fans from throwing out their own ideas for what this could be about.
Over on Reddit, fans are already putting forth their suggestions for what this expansion should focus on.
Quite a few players have already mentioned that the game's ending seems to leave open the possibility that a sequel may be released in order to address some lingering questions left unanswered. But with the expansion announced, some suspect that this piece of post-launch content may already check off some of those.
Redditor "wilhelm_icecream" made a more specific prediction, and it is one that suggests that the story expansion will in some way feature Dervahl.
Only the developers know for sure about what this story expansion will feature, and while it is already in the works, it may still take a while before it makes its official debut since no release window is attached to it just yet.
More news about the additions coming to "Horizon Zero Dawn" should be made available in the near future.
