Houston Rockets vs Dallas Mavericks Live Stream, Start Time: Watch Online NBA Basketball
With a chance to clinch the series at home, the Houston Rockets host the Dallas Mavericks at the Toyota Center in Game 5 of the NBA Western Conference playoffs. The match is on April 28, 2015 at 8 p.m. ET.
Houston dominated the first three games of this series, winning by over double digits in two of the first three contests and looked poised to complete the sweep over an aging Mavericks squad.
And things looked to be going that way as Houston got to an early lead in Game 4, eventually ending the first quarter leading 34-25. However, the Mavericks were able to fight back in the second quarter, outscoring the Rockets 36-19 to take the lead at the half. From then, they would push the pace and blow the game wide open as they showed signs of life and showed belief that they can get back in the series.
In the 121-109 victory, Monta Ellis led the team with 31 points, while shooting 62 percent from the field. Dirk Nowitzki added 16 of his own and grabbed eight rebounds. Dallas got another kickstart from an unusual source as Al-Farouq Aminu exploded for 16 points and grabbed 12 rebounds as he was tasked to defend against James Harden.
As for Harden, he finished with 24 points but did not dominate the game as he normally would. Josh Smith also had a great game to try and spark a comeback for Houston at one point, but they simply could not stop the Mavericks from rolling to a victory.
And as they have avoided the sweep, the Mavs will now look to do the impossible and win four straight matches to eliminate the Rockets.
It will start one game at a time and it is a must-win in Houston.
