Houston Rockets vs LA Clippers Live Stream, Start Time: Watch NBA Playoffs 2015 Online
The Rockets had a longer time to rest as they finished their first round relatively early.
Staying within the state, the Los Angeles Clippers are facing their second straight Texas squad as they begin their Western Conference semi-final match against the Houston Rockets in the NBA playoffs.
Their match is on May 4, 2015 at 9:30 PM ET and will be played at the Toyota Center.
In the first round of the post-season, the Rockets also met against a Texas rival in the Dallas Mavericks.
They were clearly the better team as they won the series in five games, racing to a 3-0 series lead before closing things out at home in a 103-94 victory.
Houston's star players consisting of Dwight Howard, James Harden and Josh Smith stepped up when needed and completely blew away the veteran Mavericks squad.
Meanwhile, the Clippers faced a familiar opponent in the San Antonio Spurs.
They have constantly met in the post-season in the past years, with the Spurs always eliminating the Clippers in their past meetings.
This time, however, Los Angeles were able to beat the defending champions, literally needing a basket in the dying seconds of the seventh game to finally eliminate the Spurs in an epic showdown between two of the best teams.
Blake Griffin, Chris Paul and DeAndre Jordan have been phenomenal against the Spurs and they showed their brilliance and passion as they never gave up in the series.
Now, the Rockets and Clippers start a new rivalry and either one of the two have realistic claims of advancing to the conference final.
To prove how close they're matched, their regular season series finished tied at 2-2, with Los Angeles winning the first two games, before the Rockets responded by taking the last two.
Both teams have a win each at home and away, proving that there is no real advantage between the two ahead of their epic encounter.
