In what could be one of the more intriguing battles of the Wildcard, the Texans enter this with a 9-7 record while the Chiefs are at 11-5 heading into this elimination clash.
The Texans are heading into this after winning their last three games to clinch a Wildcard spot and are hoping that they can erase their previous loss to the Chiefs earlier in the season to move on.
Meeting in Week 1 of the regular season, the two teams battled to a 27-20 final where the Chiefs were victorious.
They got off to an early lead after the first quarter as they dominated to a 14-6 score.
In the second quarter, things went the same way as they outscored Houston 13-3 to lead 27-9 at half-time.
When they came out in the third period it seemed that the Chiefs had things under control as they held the Houston Texans scoreless despite not scoring themselves to keep their 18-point lead intact.
However, in the final quarter, the Texans came alive behind touchdowns from DeAndre Hopkins and a two-point conversion by Ryan Mallett to Hopkins again to cut the lead.
Randy Bullock also scored from a 47-yard field goal attempt to cut the deficit but they eventually fell short and lost to Kansas City.
This time, things are definitely different and with them playing at home, expect the Texans to put on the pressure and avoid being down early in the game.
