Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are consulting with a transgender expert on how to deal with their daughter Shiloh's gender identity issues.
Shiloh, now 9 years old, said she wanted to be a boy. She typically plays with her male brothers, and continues to dress up in boy's clothing. According to a source that told Radar Online, the Hollywood couple is doing their best to protect Shiloh from being bullied by others that's why they have looked for a professional help. "They have also been gently setting the tone for how their five other children interact with Shiloh," the source added.
In Brad Pitt's interview with the Huffington Post in 2010, he said that the pre-teen prefers to be called "John." He and his wife fully support the child's decision, and even allow to have John cut his hair short and wear suits.

The two parents are now consulting a professional to help their other kids deal with Shiloh's gender identity issue. After seeking out advice from a transgender expert, the couple were told to just allow the child to "dress however she wanted." "This has been an opportunity for fun in the family, because Vivienne and Zahara love to dress up in their mother's clothes. The kids are constantly putting on plays for their parents, and Shiloh often directs with Pax," the source continued.
According to Radar, a source told them before that Pitt has been worried about his two older sons influencing Shiloh's transgender issues. But the expert told them that Shiloh would still identify herself as a male, even if she only have girl siblings. Apparently, the source said that Pitt is questioning himself as a parent, and wondering whether this is just a phase that Shiloh is going through and if she'll outgrow it. However, both parents have been accepting of Shiloh's choices since the beginning, no matter what, according to the source.
