How Do 36,000 Kids Practicing Kung Fu In Sync Look?
Talk about a very intimidating group of kids! Imagine tens of thousands of youths engaging in martial arts.
That is not some action movie plot, rather that is the reality at The Shaolin Temple Kung Fu Academy in the People's Republic of China.
The largest fight school of its kind in the Asian nation, the Shaolin Temple incorporates a strict regimen for its students.
Uploaded to YouTube by National Geographic, the video features both the skills and daily life of the children.
Included in the footage is a massive display of martial arts moves, performed in unison, by thousands.
Students march as though they are part of an army. They punch walls with boxing gloves, spar with each other in kick boxing fashion, and handle swords in elaborate sequences.
Since its uploading to YouTube on Nov. 17, the video has received over 172,000 views and more than 3,000 likes.
