'HTC Aero' specs news: Flagship to launch as 'HTC A9' reports say
Not long after HTC CEO Cher Wang announced that they are in the works for a "hero" phone, rumors immediately surrounded the device that turns out to be the "HTC Aero."
A number of leaked configuration details have already been rummaged by the experts, and a new rumor emerged saying the upcoming device will be released as the "HTC A9" in October. Other reports linked to the rumor have also revealed a good deal of details on the key configurations of the new flagship.
A Chinese report has revealed that the new HTC phone will sport a superior deca-core Helio X20 processor and will be an addition to the user-friendly phones around as it is reported to feature a 2.5D curved glass display, giving its owners a more improved viewing experience.
Color options are also provided as the phone is said to be launched in two colors: tyrant gold and dark gray.
Meanwhile, several rumors suggest that HTC is in the works for a "groundbreaking rear camera" that will be one of the key features in its next flagship.
According to the International Business Times, it is worth noting that the company has been under scrutiny for some time because of its cameras, and even its supposed "one-of-a-kind" ultra pixel camera as seen in the previous devices could not go eye-to-eye with other high-end phones.
To be more specific, a Forbes review nailed the HTC One M9, stating that the phone's camera unit was even worse than the one installed on Apple's iPhone 4s.
While leaks suggest that the next-gen HTC device has a look that is very similar to the iPhone, the smartphone seems to be flaunting a full-metal build.
As for pricing, reports suggest that the handset will cost somewhere between $470 and $626, though HTC has not confirmed the rumor.
