HTC Droid Incredible 4G Release Date Set for July 5 on Verizon
Verizon will release the HTC Droid Incredible 4G on July 5 for $149 on a 2-year contract.
"Customers who rely heavily on their mobile devices will find everything they need in a Droid Incredible 4G LTE by HTC," said Verizon in the press release. "Running the latest version HTC Sense 4, HTC's branded user experience, integrated with Google's mobile operating system, Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich, customers can take advantage of an enhanced mobile experience and enjoy the latest Android features, as well as the power of 4G LTE speeds."
Other specifications on the smartphone include a 4-inch qHD display, 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, front shooter, a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, and the option for up to 32GB of expandable storage.
Customers purchasing the Droid Incredible will be able to take advantage of the smartphone's ability to access the camera directly from the lock screen. The device will also have HTC Video Pic, a feature that allows users to simultaneously shoot HD quality video and take pictures at the same time.
And just like the HTC One X, the new Droid Incredible model will come with Beats by Dre Audio that basically turns the handset into a portable stereo with great sound.
"Customers will benefit from Beats Audio, an enhanced auto tuning technology that allows users to hear music the way the artist intended," wrote Verizon in the press release.
The HTC Droid Incredible 4G will run on Verizon's LTE, which is arguably the largest high speed mobile network in the country.
Verizon will offer the HTC Droid Incredible 4G for $149 after a $50 mail-in rebate. Customers will receive the rebate in the form of a debit card and can spend it wherever they'd like to.
