HTC One 2 Images Leaked on Google Plus, Displays Dual-Tone Flash
Two new images of what could be the HTC M8 or One 2 surfaced on Google+ earlier this week.
The rumored dual-tone flash can be seen in the pictures along with the HTC logo on the front of the device in between its bezel. This same feature has been seen in past leaks and in the press shot for the upcoming Desire 8.
These images are just two of many that have surfaced on the internet during the past few weeks.
Another set of pictures were posted up by NowhereElse.fr recently and created a bit of tension with an image that surfaced in the beginning of Feb. through HTCFamily as the models resemble one another, with the latter being deemed fake by LlabTooFer and HTC Netherlands. The fact that the same model showed up in both site's pictures proves that HTC might want keep its next-gen flagship under wraps until the unveiling.
The new images feature two flash LEDs that seem to be slightly different in terms of color. The corners of the device are more rounded than previous leaks and there's a larger space between the secondary camera and the strip at the top of the phone.
The shots also show onscreen buttons with a space between the screen and the speakers with an HTC logo. This could also be a prototype or an HTC One running Sense 6. The software in the new images match up to the one seen in last week's @evleaks picture.
A screenshot of the homescreen for the upcoming HTC M8 also leaked this month.
The image that surfaced through @evleaks displays on-screen buttons and a few new design tweaks that incorporate the last version of Android 4.4 KitKat.
The screenshot reveals a new on-screen navigation bar and buttons. HTC is expected to ditch its capacitive buttons and the picture points to this becoming a reality. The device used transparency for the dock background with the entire theme being lighter and more cheerful.
