HTC One S Special White Edition Released
An HTC One S special white edition has appeared on the company's Taiwanese website this week.
This variant comes with a white body similar to the one found on the HTC One X and features 64GB of built-in memory.
The rest of the specifications are all the same as the original HTC One S.
In other HTC news, it has been confirmed that the One X+ will be released through AT&T in the United States.
The carrier announced the device last week and also confirmed that it will launch two other HTC smartphones: the HTC One VX and HTC Windows Phone 8X.
The HTC One X+ comes equipped with a 1.7GHz quad-core Tegra 3 processor, 2,100mAh battery with six hours more talk time, 64GB of storage, and Android 4.1, JellyBean with HTC's custom Sense 4+.
HTC stated that this new version of the One X is 67 percent faster than the original with LTE. It will also only come in black, eliminating the white and charcoal gray colors that the One X came in.
The HTC One VX features lower end specs such as a 4.5-inch display, and a 5-megapixel rear camera. It also runs Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich.
The HTC Windows Phone 8X will be one of the first Windows 8 devices to be released and should launch sometime next month. The handset features a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 16GB of internal storage, an 8-megapixel camera, and a 4.5-inch display.
The prices and exact release dates for these handsets were not announced, but all three should arrive before 2013.
The One X+ is scheduled to hit Europe and North Asia sometime this month with a South Asia launch following in November.
The Android 4.1, JellyBean update for North American HTC One X users is expected to arrive sometime before Christmas. The international update will begin rolling out sometime before the end of this month.
