The device is currently available in grey, black and red. It even comes in 24-carat gold for those looking to really spice it up. New press images reveal that these will not be the only colors the HTC One will have.

A leaked document received by Droid Life revealed the delay of the smartphone's launch on the carrier. It was originally expected to be available today.

One of the reasons for this could be the unveiling of the long-awaited Motorola X Phone that is set to take place later today. The company did not want Google's new device outshining the launch of the HTC One on Big Red. Verizon could also want the rest of the Droid DNA stock to deplete before releasing the new HTC flagship.

The HTC One has already launched for various carriers throughout the world. The wait for the Verizon version has been quite long in comparison.

The Android 4.2.2, JellyBean update for the smartphone is now available in the U.K., Spain and Ireland.

In order to access the update, users must first download the 1.5MB bug fix which is also currently available. The update began rolling out a little over a week ago in other countries in Europe.

It comes with some new features such as lock screen widgets and a change log for the sense UI feature. Changes have also been made to the notification bar, battery percentages along with the addition of quick settings to the drop down menu. It is said to improve sense 5.0 considerably.
