The Android 4.2.2, JellyBean update with Sense 5 has begun rolling out to HTC One X+ users in the U.K.

The update has already been available for users in Taiwan for a few weeks along with select countries in Europe. Both One X and One X+ users in the U.K. are both reporting that they have begun receiving the new software on their devices.

The update is just under 380MB in size and brings a few features to the device including a Blinkfeed home screen, Zeo HD video highlights, and the updated Camera option. The European version of the HTC One X+ is also expected to receive the update soon.

The update is only available in Taiwan at this time, but will be rolling out in other countries very soon. Android 4.2.2 brings some new features to the device including Daydream, new lock screen widgets, BlinkFeed, an updated music app, an enhanced camera app, and Quick Settings Toggle.

The upgrade is also expected to improve overall battery life and the device will now show the exact battery percentage left in the status bar. It is about 484MB and a wider roll out is expected to happen in the next 30 days.

The HTC One X+ launched back in Nov. of last year.

AT&T first announced the device in Oct. and also confirmed that it would launch with two other HTC smartphones: the HTC One VX and HTC Windows Phone 8X.

The HTC One X+ comes equipped with a 1.7GHz quad-core Tegra 3 processor, 2,100mAh battery with six hours more talk time, 64GB of storage, and Android 4.1, JellyBean with HTC's custom Sense 4+.

The HTC One X series was the predecessor for the current HTC One model. HTC also plans to launch the HTC One Max later this year as a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 competitor. The HTC one is currently available for most major U.S. carriers.
