An HTC One X 5-inch model press shot leaked onto the internet last Tuesday.
HTC is expected to unveil a new device that will be a successor to the original HTC One X- possibly the smartphone in the picture. The rumored name for this handset is the HTC One X5, but that is still subject to change.
Rumored specifications for the HTC One X5 include a quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro chipset and a 5-inch 1080p display. The device's screen should easily top what is already being offered in the Android market.
Specifications for a similar smartphone called the HTC One X+ were revealed by an XDA Developer recently.
This device also could be the successor to the original HTC One X that launched with Ice Cream Sandwich earlier this year.
According to the leaked information, the new handset will measure 134.36 x 69.9 x 9.3mm and weigh 129 grams. It will also pack an Nvidia AP37 1.6GHz quad-core processor with 32GB of internal storage and 1GB RAM.
The OneX+ also is expected to run Android 4.1 JellyBean and use HTC's own Sense 4.5 UI. The battery is said to remain at 1800mAh, which is not such great news for those who had power issues with the original One X.
The source responsible for the leak has a good track record when it comes to HTC devices and recently revealed that the HTC Accord will be powered by Windows Phone X8.
