Huawei Honor Note 9: Leak Shows Phablet Will Be Beastly; Dual Camera Setup and More Confirmed
A new leak featuring the Huawei Honor Note 9 has found its way online and it treats users with a first look at the upcoming phablet offering from the Chinese tech company.
Its predecessor, the Huawei Honor Note 8, was huge at 6.6 inches. The image, which leaks from Huawei's home turf, shows that the next iteration of the device will be a beast of a smartphone as well.
As far as the design goes, the Huawei Honor Note 9 looks premium and sleek, thanks to its metallic finish. Android Headlines says that it has the iPhone 7 Plus look to it.
The image also shows that the Huawei phablet will sport a dual camera setup with a LED flash sitting in the middle. It appears to be the same as that of the Huawei Honor V9 or V8 Pro.
There is also a fingerprint sensor below it, the positioning of which appears to be identical to that of the Huawei Honor Note 8. From there, it can be understood that there won't be physical buttons on the front.
Other reports about the front of the Huawei Honor Note 9 suggest that it will boast a large display panel and an excellent screen-to-body ratio that will rival that of LG and Samsung's flagships.
As for the phablet's insides, word is that it will be powered by Huawei's very own HiSilicon Kirin 960 processor, which promise first-rate performance with its four ARM Cortex-A53 cores and another four ARM Cortex-A73 cores clocked at 1.84GHz and 2.36GHz, respectively.
Other rumored specifications and features include 6 GB of random-access memory (RAM) and a 12 MP shooter with 4K support with a massive 4,000 mAh battery to keep the lights on the huge phablet.
With regard to the release date, the Huawei Honor Note 9 is expected to be unveiled by August and will be available by September.
