Huawei Nexus 6 (2015) design, specs & price update; to be released on Sept. 29?
Smartphones being released left and right is now nothing new to everybody. Tech giants are in a competition of releasing the best ones that sometimes it can be a daunting task to choose which device to buy. But one device that might be worth waiting for is Google's Huawei Nexus 6 (2015).
After Motorola Nexus 6, Google takes another shot at creating a phablet that is rumored to do better than the previous model. Forbes noted that Huawei is an odd option but it revealed that the smartphone will most likely have a cheaper price compared to the overly expensive Nexus 6 that was released last year.
According to Tech Radar, the Motorola version of the Nexus 6 was priced at a whopping $650 (£500, AU$870) at full retail. It really made a big change from the typically affordable Nexus program, although it may be justifiable considering the size, specs and construction. But since Huawei is known for their economical handsets, the smartphone may have a price tag of $450 to $550, reports CrossMap.
Leaked details revealed that the Chinese-based company will release a 5.7-inch display phablet. It will come with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 that will provide a pixel density of 515ppi. It is expected to have an octa core 2.0GHz Snapdragon 810 processor. It will have two kinds of internal storage, 32 and 64GB, but both will have 3 GB of RAM. It is expected to debut Android Marshmallow as well.
Rumors say that it will feature a 21MP camera on the back with dual LED flash while the selfie snapper will be 8MP. According to Pocket-lint, leaked photos showed a camera bump at the top of the new Nexus 6. This suggests that it will have camera space to consolidate optical image stabilization.
Reports say that Huawei Nexus 6 (2015) will be launched sometime this October, but as reported by Tech Radar, the expected release date of the gadget will be on Sept. 29 which is the same date of the rumored launch of LG Google Nexus 5.
