Hulu Plus App Now Compatible With More Android Tablets
Hulu Plus subscribers can now access the application for the service on several more Android powered tablets thanks to a new update that is now available for download.
Consumers were able to access Hulu's service on a PC, smartphone, Xbox 360, Roku, PS3, iPad, 3DS and many other devices, but some more popular tablets running Android software were still unable to support it until recently, such as the Amazon Kindle Fire, HTC Flyer and Vizio VTAB.
This new update introduces a brand new tablet-optimized interface and support for those devices as well as other ones including the Asus Eee Pad Transformer, Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime, Motorola XOOM, Motorola XOOM, Motorola XYBoard 10.1, Toshiba Thrive, Acer Iconia, LG G-Slate, and Vizio 8" Tablet.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab line did not make the cut. The most surprising variant to not be compatible with the Hulu Plus application is the 10.1-inch version since there are currently other Tegra 2 tablets such as the ASUS TF101 that are. The Galaxy line is one of the most popular brand of tablets on the market so it is strange that Hulu has not made it a priority for the service.
The updated Hulu Plus app is currently available in the Google Play store for free and the service costs $8.00 per month.
The service gives customers access to some of the most popular television shows with the touch of a button along with films and documentaries.
Whole seasons of series can be accessed on Hulu so the service can be great for catching up to the newest episodes of a show or going back to relive a favorite moment.
The service is available on PCs, gaming consoles, smartphones and tablets. Episodes of shows can also be accessed on Hulu.com for free. However, the selection is limited unless a customer subscribes to Hulu Plus. The regular version can also only be accessed through a web browser.
