Hurricane Harvey Updates: How to Help Victims of Texas Flooding

Hurricane Harvey has devastated Texas, and is expected to dump more rain through the region until Friday. It is expected that thousands more people in the already flooded Houston, Texas area will be affected, and funds are desperately needed for rescue, relief and aid efforts for the millions affected, many whom have lost homes, vehicles and all their possessions.

According to reports, the National Weather Service had to create a new scale to accurately measure how much rain Hurricane Harvey has brought with it, and a few locations have already recorded a three-foot mark since the hurricane made its landfall last weekend. With the heavy rains predicted to persist until Friday things are only expected to get worse before this week is over.

Relief organizations are requesting that the public donate as much as possible to those who are affected and will be affected by the flooding in Houston through various groups and organizations.
