'I Am Setsuna' News: Nintendo Switch Exclusive DLC Announced
The role-playing video game "I Am Setsuna" is getting a Nintendo Switch exclusive downloadable content (DLC) called the Temporal Battle Arena.
Set to be released next month, the DLC will give players the access to the Temporal Battle Arena by pressing forward the main story and speaking to a character on a specific map.
This "I Am Setsuna" DLC gives players the chance to upload their battle data for others to try out for themselves. In doing so, they will be able to brawl it out with the parties of their fellow gamers in the form of artificial intelligence (AI) opponents.

Players can choose a foe at random or input a code to try a specific battle data. "I Am Setsuna" will allow a maximum of three battles for upload.
Winning the battle will reward gamers with the spritnite stones held by their opponents. The key to making sure they emerge the victor lies in the kind of equipment brought into the field.
"I Am Setsuna" was released last year to the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 (PS4) and PC. The Nintendo Switch version came with the actual next-gen Nintendo console last March 3.
"I Am Setsuna" follows the story of the titular young woman of incredible inner strength named Setsuna, who makes a sacrifice for her land. The description for the game reads:
"The Island had a custom. To maintain peace, once a decade, a sacrifice was offered to a fiend on the island. However, one year, the fiend grew violent before the next sacrifice was due. Those living on the island were afraid and tried to calm the fiend by offering a sacrifice; Setsuna, chosen because of her powers of enchantment. Setsuna must leave with her safeguards for the farthest land, where the ceremony of sacrifice will be held."
"I Am Setsuna" promises Nintendo Switch players "the authentic JRPG style of yesteryear" as well as a nostalgic experience brought about by the classic storytelling, battle system and gameplay.
