'I Would Take a Bullet for Her': You'll Cry Over the Beautiful Love Between This Brother and Sister (VIDEO)

Credit :

Lindsay Cochran was born with Spinal Muscular Atrophy, a disorder that occurs in about 8 out of every 100,000 live births, and has used a wheelchair since the age of two. Although she's different from the other kids, she never has to feel alone because of Trenton.

Trenton is Lindsay's big brother and her champion. He helps her around the house and defends her place in the world.

"Just because she's different doesn't mean she doesn't fit in," Trenton says in the video below.

Lindsay recognizes everything Trenton means to her.

"It's just easier for me to go through life with a big brother like Trenton," she says.

But Trenton's love for Lindsay goes beyond dutiful and protective big brother. She's a fundamental part of who he is, and his love is so tangible, it's hard to imagine what he was he like before she entered his life.

"I would take a bullet for her. She's my best friend," he says, tearing up. "I would do anything for her. My life would be nothing without her."

Their story was selected by Christian radio station K-LOVE as one of their Fan Awards last year.
