Ice Cream Sandwich Android: OS Already Ported to Nexus S
Since the Oct. 19 unveiling of Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich and its flagship smartphone the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, reports have indicated that a number of Android 2.3, Gingerbread phones would soon be getting an upgrade to the new operating system.

Samsung and Google released the Android 4.0 SDK after the "Samsung Mobile Unpacked: Google Episode" media event where the OS and smartphone were unveiled in order for developers to begin creating apps for the system.
A developer on the Android Central forum who goes by the name Breezy has released his progress with porting Ice Cream Sandwich to the Nexus S 4G.
Engadget reports that Breezy has had success porting Ice Cream Sandwich's Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, cellular data and touch screen.
However, according to Engadget, the Wi-Fi is currently "non-functioning" and the touchscreen is "wonky."
Breezy has not released the Android 4.0 ROM to the public, as he is still working out a number of bugs.

Before the unveiling of Ice Cream Sandwich and the Galaxy Nexus, an Ice Cream Sandwich powered Nexus S surfaced after a Google employee reportedly sold it on e-Bay.
The Ice Cream Sandwich powered Nexus S was the source of many of the ICS specs that were leaked.
Other Android smartphones and tablet computers that have been confirmed for Android 4.0 updates and releases are Google Nexus One, Motorola DROID Bionic, DROID RAZR, ASUS Eee Pad Transformer, ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Prime and the ASUS Pad Phone.
