On August 8, the Australian-born artist posted a Twitter status telling her fans about her day at the studio.

"Also album update for the fans: Im in the studio as i type this, things are going great & moving along. 6 songs completed on the album," the singer said via Twitter.

Azalea followed up with another Twitter post and confirmed that she might finish the album with 10 songs. This means fans' waiting time for her newest album will be cut short, the report states.

Meanwhile, Azalea has another surprise for her fans. She will be collaborating with Demi Lovato in the latter's album, MTV reports.

In a Twitter post on August 23, Azalea said she has no plans of doing any features until her new album is released. However, she made an exception for Demi Lovato because they are close friends.

Demi Lovato herself confirmed the appearance of her BFF on her upcoming album. But as of now, she is still trying to find the right song on which Azalea should fit in perfectly.

Azalea also revealed that the collaboration will not be a single, so fans should not expect the song the be aired regularly, the report adds.

Lovato has yet to reveal the official release date of her album and her collaboration song with Izzy Azalea, but it will most likely be released ahead of Azalea's own album.
