After losses in their first games in the new season of the National Basketball Association, the Indiana Pacers host the Memphis Grizzlies at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

Both teams were expected to make good runs this season as the Grizzlies and their core remained intact throughout the summer.

With big men like Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph, many believed that they can trouble most of the teams in the league even if they are placed in the tough Western Conference.
However, in their first match of the season, they faced another top team in the Cleveland Cavaliers and were unable to get off from the first minute of the game.
Memphis fell behind early and were unable to make-up as they were outscored by the Cavaliers in all the four quarters of the game.
Randolph had 12 points and eight rebounds in the defeat, while Gasol also had a dozen points and five rebounds.
They were the only two players who finished in double figures in the game and the team needs other players to step-up if they want to get back on the win column.
Memphis still have capable players such as Mike Conley, Jeff Green and Matt Barnes but they must start aggressive and play to their strengths if they want to win.
Meanwhile, the Pacers may not be as strong as they once were but Paul George has returned and the preseason showed he is ready to lead the Pacers.
In their first game, they played the Toronto Raptors and lost 106-99 despite five players from Indiana finishing in double figures.
George almost registered a triple double with 17 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists, but he also had three turnovers and shot 4-of-17 from the field, including 0-of-4 from beyond the arc.
Point guard George Hill led the team in scoring with 19 points but failed to find his teammates as he only had two assists for the night.
Expect both teams to try and get the win they need in their coming clash.
