'Injustice 2' Could Be Heading to PC With DLC Included

Devs have yet to confirm a PC release for the fighting game currently available for the PS4 and Xbox One

The distinct brand of super brawling featured in the fighting game "Injustice 2" may soon be made available to PC players, at least if two retailer listings are to be believed.

Just recently, both Amazon France and GameMania featured listings suggesting that a PC version of the aforementioned fighting game is in the works, WCCF Tech reported. The second of those two retailer listings even suggested that the PC game may be released before the end of this year.

Furthermore, SegmentNext also reported that the version coming to PC may arrive with all previously released downloadable content packs included.

Notably, a total of nine DLC fighters have been confirmed for the game. Six of those characters have been identified and have been spread out across two "Fighter Packs."

It is still unclear who the three remaining DLC characters are.

At this point, the folks behind "Injustice 2" have yet to confirm any plan to make the game available on the PC, though there are reasons to expect this to happen anyway.

For one, newer fighting games have been flocking to the PC recently, so it is not like this particular title would be going into unchartered territory. On top of that, a PC version could also reignite interest in this particular game and that could lead to more robust sales figures.

Still, there may also be reasons for fighting game fans to hold off on getting super excited at this point.

As Destructoid pointed out, the first "Injustice" game that was released for the PC is not exactly the best-working game available for the platform, and it begs the question of whether things can really get turned around with this newer installment of the series.

More news about "Injustice 2" and whether or not it really is on its way to the PC should be made available in the near future.
