After a five-year hiatus in Australia, Dale Bray, one of the three original founders of Inpop Records along with Inpop CEO Wes Campbell and newsboys frontman Peter Furler, made his return to the Nashville-based company to serve as president.
Bray, who is originally from Australia, spent the last five years there heading up Crossroad Distribution and Sonfest Touring Company, and returned to Nashville in October with his family.
The last five years in Australia have been a great time of growth, both for me personally and in my business ventures, said Bray. The distribution company, which represents EMI CMG and Veggietales in Australia, has expanded exponentially over the last few years, and that has allowed me the flexibility to come back to Nashville to bring this former relationship full circle.
Inpop CEO and co-founder Wes Campbell commented, Dale has nearly 20 years of experience in the music industry, and he knows the record business inside and out. His experience will be key for our continued growth, and we are thrilled that he will join us again for this new era of Inpop Records.
Inpop houses such popular artists as acoustic worship duo Shane & Shane, South African-based rock band Tree63, and punk-rock sextet Superchic[k].
