iOS 10.3 News: The Features and Observed Problems With the Recently Released Apple Operating System

iPhone, iPad owners voicing their complaints over battery-related issues apparently caused by iOS 10.3

A new operating system was released just recently for iPhone and iPad owners in the form of iOS 10.3, and apparently, this downloadable comes with some pros and cons.

Beginning with the pros of this new operating system, Apple device owners should know that it contains several new features, including one that will make it easier for them to locate their AirPods.

Detailed over on Apple's Support site, the additional Find My iPhone feature gives users access to a process that will make one or both of the AirPods produce a sound that will then aid in their detection.

Additional functionalities for Siri and CarPlay are also included, together with a considerable amount of fixes.

Unfortunately, it seems as though some iPhone and iPad users also got more than what they wanted from the newest operating system update from Apple.

Numerous device owners have already taken to social networking websites to share the problems they have encountered with iOS 10.3.

According to a report from Gotta Be Mobile, among the issues that have been observed already include ones that could affect Wi-Fi, Siri and even the battery.

Obviously, issues with any of those can be difficult to deal with, but the ones specifically affecting the battery can be hard to manage as they are apparently causing faster draining.

If device owners feel as though the observed problems outweigh the potential benefits of this operating system update, then they may want to bypass it. However, for those who have already downloaded it and are now dealing with the aforementioned issues, they can still do some things to weaken the battery drain.

According to an article from the International Business Times, users can tinker with some of the apps that may be running in the background and even the wallpaper to counter the battery drain.

More news about Apple's iOS 10.3 should be made available soon.
