iOS 7 Beta 5 Download Now Available for Developers
The iOS 7 beta download is now available for developers.
Apple released this version to this week for developers to test out. It is currently available over-the-air to existing beta testers and can also be downloaded via Apple's Developer Center.
"The beta version of iOS 7 contains bug fixes and improvements," read the update notification.
This version rolled just over a week after the previous beta 4 version became available. Apple also launched the 4th version of its Apple TV beta, which could be downloaded by registered members of Apple's paid developers program.
The software is said to bring a number of improvements to the system such as bug fixes, newly redesigned Settings icons and a Control Center option that allows the feature to be disabled within apps.
It also offers a slew of minor interface tweaks and improvements that make the system run faster and smoother. The Control Center settings allow the user to turn the function off while in apps which stops it from being accessed from the bottom of the screen while playing games.
The slider bar that pops up when the iPhone is powering down has been altered a big and the Twitter icon has been redesigned reversing the colors of the bird and the background.
Banner notifications can also be pulled down to access additional information.
The iOS 7 update is expected to roll out in the next couple of months. The software was introduced during Apple's World Wide Developer's Conference earlier this year. It will be introduced with the next-generation and low-cost iPhones that are also expected to launch in the near future.
The software features a completely redesigned interface created to compete with the ever changing Android OS. Google debuted its latest Android 4.3 last month.
