Apple Insists the iPad Pro 2 is a Laptop Computer Replacement
Apple shared a new video hailing its iPad Pro 2 as a laptop and computer replacement.
The advertisement in question makes the viewers think that the iPad Pro 2 is capable of doing laptop or computer functions. In the video (see below), the iPad Pro 2 is shown with its various accessories including the Apple Pencil and the Smart Keyboard.

Mirror reports that besides the iPad Pro series, there is the iPad Air 2 and the iPad Mini. It is rumored that since Apple wants to expand its iPad Pro series, there might be three models for the upcoming iPad Pro 2 including a 7.9-inch, 9.7-inch and a 12.9-inch.
The display screen of the iPad Pro 2 will be better than its predecessor as it will have Apple's True Tone technology, the same display on the iPad Pro 9.7. The device might also come with a better 12-MP rear camera with Retina Flash and iSight technology.
According to Vine Report, the new tablet is speculated to come with the iOS 10 and the new A10X processor from Taiwan. Furthermore, the accessories of the iPad Pro 2 are expected to be upgraded as well.

In the past, Apple has always stuck to their own calendar of releasing their products. With the coming of the iPad Pro 2, it is likely that it will be released by September, Crossmap noted. Given the success of the previous iPad Pro releases, there is a possibility that Apple may delay the iPad Pro 2.
The iPad Pro 2 is expected to come in different variants and internal storage and priced accordingly. It is rumored that the iPad Pro 2 could have a minimum 32GB or 64GB variant at $800. The 128GB variant could cost around $950 while the 256GB iPad Pro 2 could be around $1,000. The 128GB iPad Pro 2 with WiFi and Cellular could be pegged at $1,080 while the 256GB with WiFi and Cellular might cost around $1,230.

While it is true that the iPad Pro 2 have features and accessories that can rival desktop computers and laptops, the idea of entrusting a tablet to do heavy computer workload may not be for everybody. Furthermore, iPad Pro 2 accessories like the Smart Keyboard and Apple Pencil are sold separately and may be too expensive for some.
