iPad Pro 2 Specs Rumors: 10.5-Inch Tablet in Limited Production; Is April Release Possible?

Apple has been running an iPad Pro ad campaign since mid-February, featuring complaints from actual Twitter users that the California-based tech company claims the iPad Pro can solve. And while this may not be a clear indication that the iPad Pro 2 is on its way soon, fans are still holding out hope that Apple is cooking up something big for its flagship line of computer tablets.

The latest videos that have been posted in line with this campaign featured three common problems that laptop users encounter on a day-to-day basis. Keeping true to its tagline —"Real problems... answered" — these videos offer the quickest solution to these concerns by highlighting the iPad Pro's more favorable features like its lighter weight, its ability to run business-significant apps like Excel and PowerPoint, its portability, and its longer battery life.

Since the previously predicted release dates for the iPad Pro 2 have not been met, speculations are now pointing to a possible April launch to coincide with the opening of Apple's new headquarters in Santa Clara Valley. The Apple Park is the tech company's new 175-acre campus born out of Steve Jobs' vision of a center that promotes and reinforces creativity and collaboration.

The April opening, however, is for Apple employees only, and construction of the various structures and greeneries around the campus is expected to continue through the summer. The park's upcoming 1,000-seat auditorium, which will be named the Steve Jobs Theater, is said to open much later this year.

Apple has neither confirmed nor denied the possibility of releasing an iPad Pro 2 this year. But there are still rumors saying that an initial U.S. launch could happen in April, and could be followed by a global launch by the end of the year.

If and when the iPad Pro 2 is released in 2017, it is expected to feature Apple's latest mobile chip, the A10 processor. It has also been rumored that the iPad Pro 2 may come in a new form factor of 10.5 inches with narrower bezels, a slimmer and lighter slate, and water-resistant capabilities.

Latest reports are saying that the 10.5-inch iPad Pro 2 has allegedly entered limited production, which has, in turn, raised hopes that the new iPad Pro 2 may be released in April.
