Apple is set to unveil its next iPad Pro next week, and along with the announcement, the company is rumored to be cooking up something new for the iPad keyboard.

The iPad Pro 2015 will reportedly have expanded Bluetooth keyboard support. The 12.9-inch Apple tablet will also have a new keyboard accessory soon, according to Mac Rumors.

In March this year, photos of an Apple Wireless Keyboard showed up briefly on the Apple Store Online. The power button and other keys of the said keyboard appear to have a backlight, the report details.

Just last month, a set of documents filed with the U.S. Federal Communications Commission was discovered. The filings list a new Apple Wireless Keyboard that includes Bluetooth 4.2 plus a rechargeable lithium-on battery.

The spreading rumors about the iPad Pro 2015, however, are still not consistent. Recent reports say the iPad Pro will be launched in October, Christian Today reports.

A J.P. Morgan analyst reportedly told clients that Apple will start distributing parts of the iPad Pro to its partner Foxconn at the beginning of September. In addition, the analyst also revealed some details about the new Apple device.

The iPad Pro will reportedly sport a new touch screen display that will use the glass-film-film (GFF) technology. This system improves the new iPad's screen efficiency. The iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3 use the GFF technology. The GFF technology could prove to be a huge advantage for iPad Pro, the report explains.

The 12.9-inch screen of the iPad Pro will reportedly have a 2732 x 2048 resolution. The device will also run on iOS 9.1. Aside from that, the tablet will be 7 millimeters thick. It will also borrow the Touch ID, 2 GB of RAM, and other features from the iPad Air 2.

The new Apple devices, including the iPad Pro 2015, are expected to be unveiled at an event on Sept. 9. On that day, the tech giant is also expected to introduce its latest iPhone and Apple TV.
